Frequently Asked Questions

Kid Eastwood is an independent action comedy comic series created by Connor Tierney.

So, what's it all about?

Kid Eastwood is a coming of age story that follows Clint Cassidy,
who became the superhero Kid Eastwood as a little kid with the help of
his uncle Ray; the great hero Radioisotope, and has been
fighting against the forces of evil ever since!

At age 18 he decides he's had enough of fighting purse snatchers and
wants to hit the big time like his uncle Radioisotope and his buddies the
Iconics, who also happen to be the world's greatest heroes.

As Clint comes to find out, the only problem with hitting the
big time is that it usually hits back, and it hits HARD!

Even armed with abilities like super strength, flight
and a healing factor, it's going to take everything he's got
to prove he can be the hero Yew Nork City needs.

luckily, he's not going to do it alone!

        Why should I read it?

Kid Eastwood is a love letter to superhero comics and shonen manga, designed to celebrate the
fun and silliness of comics, while also telling a story about real people dealing with real consequences.

In Kid Eastwood, if someone dies, they stay dead. If your arm gets cut off by an
intoxicated Lizard with a sword, that's something you've got to live with for the rest of your life.

If you're a fan of bombastic hard hitting action, brutal comic book violence,  zany slapstick
humor, an occasional bit of personal introspection and the most bizarre characters imaginable-
This is the comic for you!

       Where do I start?

            With issue 1 of course!
Kid Eastwood is currently split into two mini-series which have their own overarching stories,
while also featuring standalone monster-of-the-week style issues.

I try to keep every issue new-reader friendly and self-contained to a certain degree,
so if you jump into the middle of an arc, fear not- you should be able to enjoy that individual
story without being bogged down by the details.

Currently the comic is split into two parts-

         Series 1

Series 1 is comprised of the first 11 issues and is intended to be read as a complete story.

         Series 2

Series 2 will begin to be released in October with issue 12, and will continue
from where series 1 ended. This series while being a direct continuation, is intended
to be read as a complete story as well.

        Do you sell physical books?

           Yes I do!
Kid Eastwood is created with the intent of being read in print.
You can find the entirety of series 1 split between volumes 1 and 2
as well as a bunch of other goodies like stickers and prints by clicking here!
